The Cottage Destitute and Needy home is a non governmental and non profit organization founded on the 1st October 2009. It was founded by a missionary (Rev Fr Stephen Osei Boateng). this initiative was as a result of homeless persons piling up the streets of Accra Ghana and its environs. since the establishment of the cottage's home, we have succeeded in ensuring that we provide home for the homeless, hope for the hopeless, being parents to the motherless kids, taking care of the aged, provide food, education, clothing, skills, security, health and accepting the destitute littered in the street due to frustration. We are care givers and we ensure that our in-mates are adequately taken care of. We have trained nurse aide and care givers that take care of the kids and the aged. we educate the kids from kindergarten to secondary level and make life easier for them as we also train them in skill acquisition. We are primarily sponsored by philanthropists such as individuals, groups, school
