The first week of July 2014, anthony Cumia was fired from the 20 year long partnership with Gregg "Opie" Hughes, ending the "Opie & Anthony Show". Ant was attacked (physically) by a crazy woman while he was taking photos. When he got on his computer, he basically vented about it, calling her names (which ANY of us would feel like doing). Sirius XM saw these posts, thought they were violence-inducing and fired him, the VICTIM! Along with his firing, the channel (once called the Opie & Anthony Channel) has been renamed, along with the show. Thousands of fans have sent complaints to SiriusXM and cancelled their subscriptions. Petitions are going around to get him rehired, and suggestions of boycotts of sponsors are in the air. If you feel that a Ant was wrongfully fired from his show (which is UNCENSORED), over statements he made after getting punched by a psychotic woman, Cancel your subscription, sign the petitions, and let them know that they have made a very "serious" error in judgement.
