The reason that I have this page.. I took care of my mom for 4 years as she was dying of cancer. I learned a lot about Medicare, cancer, meds and other things during this time. I paid over 498,000 dollars on operations that Medicare did not cover. On top of this I was paying over $3,000 a month in meds for my mom that Medicare did not "approve". One of these meds cost $1100 by itself. The emotional anguish I felt knowing I was losing my mom was bad enough, but financially it destroyed me. I learned about this card a few years after she passed. That one $1100 med would have only been $79 with this card. So now I am on a mission to help as many people save as much as possible on their meds.
