Personally, I'm still trying to hack the RAF Drone system without any success. They must be using heavily encrypted software. Locator becons are not much problem but overriding guidance is a bit more tricky.
R/C Rock Crawling hmmmm I'd be researching the NASA databases on that for the Mars Rover designs and modifying them as needed. It can't be all that hard to swap to an more suitable design.
