Rock-Ola Jukebox
Recently purchased a 1973 model jukebox that I am working on restoring. So far I've managed to get it to load records and now I'm waiting for a new needle to see if she'll play some music!
Movies
Old Eastwood westerns, Will Smith's movies, science fiction (the good ones), comedies. I really don't have a favorite as movies come and go.

JukeBox update

May 20, 2008, 3:21 pm

Well.. I got my manual in and managed to get her working great.  Currently I've got a small set of selections that won't play and it's gonna take some more research to figure out what to do next.   But.. .she sounds great and all the lights are working and the coins acceptor is working .. .woo hoo!

Squeakers is getting bigger, although I don't think she's keeping pace with the other's outside.  I'm beginning to wonder if she wasn't pushed from the nest because of her being 'the runt'.  She is developing more of a personality.. but still has the skiddishness of a squirel that she just can't seem to outgrow.

Rock-Ola Jukebox

I purchased a 1973 model Rock-Ola Jukebox for $100!!!  Smile

Since the purchase (a week ago) I have put about $50 into it which paid for a new needle, some lights, a trouble shooting manual and cabinet locks and keys.  So far I can get her to play any record in the carosel but only a select number of records by using the selection buttons.  I should receive my troubleshooting manual by the end of this week (5/16) and with that I'm confident I'll get her working as she should!

I made Squeakers a climbing shelf that is now screwed to the top of the cage I built.  She loves it but tends to chew on it as much as she climbs it!
