34 ha of land in developement-Borsa este o localitate in nordul extrem al Romaniei (Judetul Maramures), in partea rasariteana a Depresiunii Maramuresului inchisa de Muntii Rodnei si Muntii Maramuresului (Carpatii Orientali), situata la 700-850 m altitudine, pe Valea Viseului, in apropierea Pasului Prislop (altitudine 1.414 m), care leaga Transilvania de Bucovina. Izvoare cu ape minerale carbogazoase sau continand fier, calciu, magneziu, sunt recomandate in tratamentul bolilor cronice ale tubului digestiv si in tratamentul bolilor renale. Dat fiind clima propice, statiunea este recomandata si pentru tratamentul nevrozelor astenice si al tulburarilor respiratorii.

Castelul a fost construit în secolul al XIX-lea în stil eclectic, cu elemente neobaroce și neoclasice. A fost revendicat de moștenitoarea familiei Bánffy, care locuiește în Ungaria. Castelul nu poate fi de aceea renovat, fiind în curs de retrocedare Clădirea are formă dreptunghiulară, fiind dispus pe nivelul parterului, etajului și șarpantei, cu un turn dreptunghiular în colțul de sud-vest. Accesul se face printr-un portic neoclasic mărginit de 5 coloane dorice, deasupra cărora este plasată terasa. Din portic se intră în hol și încăperile parterului, iar o scară asigură accesul la etaj. La parter se mai găsește în hol mobilierul original de lemn, decorat cu oglinzi venețiene. Castelul se află pe un domeniu întins din care au mai rămas aleile principale mărginite de arbori. La sud-vest de castel se află un mic monument comemorativ dedicat lui Dániel Bánffy[1] (14 mai 1812 - 29 aprilie 1888), ridicat de soția sa Anna Gyárfás și fii săi, Deszö, Jenö și Ernö. Castelul este înscris pe lista monumentelor istorice din județul Cluj[2] elaborată de Ministerul Culturii și Patrimoniului Național din România în anul 2010.
