I am a captain General in the United States Army, served as the commander of the 82nd Airborne Division until August 2010. I assumed command on October 1, 2008. I am a former commander of I Corps and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Now, I am the current Commander, International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Joint Command and Deputy Commander, U.S. Forces – Afghanistan.
