    • BSG, Dr Who, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Caprica, Borgias, Castle, Chuck, Big Bang Theory, Torchwood just to name a few. Some newer faves have become Helix, Revolution, The Paradise.

    • Charles DeLint is my first and foremost fave, Alexander Dumas, Jane Austen, Dante and I read a lot of Manga like Ghost in the Shell, DEARS Rosenmaiden, so on and so forth

    • Not really into sports unless it involves horses.

    • Reiki, singing, writing poetry, dancing, photography, Medieval Re-enactment, reading, roleplaying games, so on and so forth...this list will get too long

    • Getting my Reiki Practice off and running

    • My eyes. People are quite drawn to them. I also get comments often about my vibrant personality and the light and love that seems to emanate from my very soul....

    • Namaste, Welcome to my page. A few ground rules are set in motion. First and foremost, please do not message me if you can only speak three words in the message, i.e. "whats up sexy." Also, do not message me with propositions. I am quite happily involved. I seek friendships with intelligent, creative and spiritual people who can carry on a decent conversation. Topics that are some of my faves include, spirituality, religion, Reiki, photography, SCA, poetry, music, science, Dr Who and anything else of the SciFi or Fantasy genre, so on and so forth. Also, I have two dogs and a cat: D'Artagnan, Finnegan and Faust. Of note, I am a Registered Nurse, Level II Usui Reiki healer, an ordained interfaith minister and spiritual/past life counselor. I specialize in working with Crystal and Indigo Children and with newly "awakeneds." I am of Cherokee, Sioux, French, Irish and Danish descent and my Cherokee name is Smiling Turtle. Thanks to my maternal grandfather, I am descended from the Howard Duchy and thusly related to Queen Elizabeth first through her mother Anne Boleyn's line. Yes, geneology is fun. • While they were trying to figure out my symptoms, they also discovered I had Meniere's Disease. This is where too much fluid builds up in the deep part of the ear called the cochlea. It looks like a snail shell and it is filled with fluid that conducts sound waves into signals to the nerves that lead to the brain. It also maintains the fluid to keep a person balanced. In Meniere's there is too much fluid and you get symptoms of vertigo, off balancedness, hearing loss, ringing in the ears, fullness in the ears, nausea and sometimes vomiting. You can also get "brain fog" and brain concentration issues. In my case I had vertigo and off balancedness and nausea at times. I also had the brain fog. It was like riding on a tilt a whirl inside my brain. They treat it with medications. Fortunately for me I had not lost any of my hearing. • I was finally diagnosed after all this time for the demyleinating disease that has plagued me for over a year. It is called Devic's Disease Subtype. It is similar to Multiple Sclerosis but worse. There is no cure. There are only drugs to treat acute attacks and then the chemo drug Rituxin used prevent future attacks. The disease is complicated and if you wish to learn more please look it up online as that I cannot fully explain it. It causes both Transverse Myleitis and Optic Neuritis. I have had both and have weakness in upper and lower extremities as well as constant spasms. It caused the loss of color vision in my left eye. I have been through physical therapy to help build strength back up in my arms and legs. The color vision is probably not going to return at this point. I walk with a cane. It's okay though. I am taking this one day at a time. I won't lose hope.

    • Update, I have begun chemo. Had two dosings two weeks apart. Got sick with a respiratory and then a a sinus infection after the second one. On antibitiocs now.
