Denyse spent over 25+ years in the Health industry from nursing to administration, earning several post-graduate degrees. Though she was well-prepared, she burned out in that industry and decided a change was in order for the remainder of her days. Searching for a more fun alternative, she entered the travel industry through an MLM in 2005. Although she personally mentored and trained business partners how to market their travel businesses without cold-calling leads or approaching family or friends, but by using the product of travel, she learned that working this industry through an MLM was not beneficial for her to achieve her goals. She then began to search for the next step in this second career. She quickly found her place! Having spent much of her career working IN nonprofits, she decided that she wanted to HELP nonprofits. Rx 4 Fun Travel LLC was born and adopted the goal of ensuring that nonprofit organizations and ministries understand how they can increase their income by not asking members/supporters for additional donations. She believes in not only designing travel planning for her clients but to also give back where the needs exist.

Rx 4 Fun Travel has helped nonprofits across the country to continue to do what they love ~ impact others’ lives ~ without having to worry about maintaining their cash flow! The agency is in the process of planning an Annual Teen Summit where the goals will be to choose teens from distressed communities to cruise outside of the country and enhance their lives educationally, socially, mentally and spiritually. It is also hosting a Women’s Empowerment Cruise which will benefit organizations whose missions are to educate and empower women mentally, socially, physically, spiritually and financially while eliminating racism and sexism. In keeping with her love for nonprofit and community work, Denyse has served on the YWCA of Paterson’s Board of Directors for the last twenty years, serving as its President for eleven years. There are other community-based organizations too numerous to mention with which she has worked. Additionally, she has been a Pastor’s wife for the past twenty-nine years.

Seeking to maximize her knowledge in the travel industry, she has earned her title of Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) and is now working toward the Master Cruise Counsellor (MCC) and the Certified Travel Associate (CTA). She also holds Cancun, Disney, Hawai’i, Spa and Las Vegas Destination Specialist Certificates, among many others and a Recommend Destination Specialist. She is also a Niche Cruise Specialist, a Princess Cruises Commodore, a Freestyle Advanced Specialist, a Carnival “Funologist”, a Royal Caribbean Expert and a Non Profit Funding Specialist. Rx 4 Fun Travel is her ‘prescription for fun”!
