NorthCoastPitBulls Says...: Originally from west Texas , we have always loved the pit bull breed and have owned them for over twenty years. We do have an occasional litter - but breed only as a hobby when we just want to have some pups around the house again and see what our chosen sire and dam will produce. We've never been disappointed. We also extend rescue and adoption efforts as necessary, trying to place needy dogs in suitable homes, so keep us in mind if a situation arises. We will always try to help out a dog in need. Also if you're looking to adopt you can check in with us. Or if you just want to talk about dogs, hit us up .
Music: We're rockers mainly. Pantera, Metallica, Il Nino, some others like SPM and Delinquent Habits. It's more about the song than the category - either we like it, or we don't.
Movies: Horror movies and the occasional comedy.
Interests: Settling down at night and watching movies with my family after a hard day at work. Also like working out the dogs - Moolah is a beast with the frisbee!
Dreams: Don't need to dream, life is good ;)

Height and Weight

The American Pit Bull Terrier must be both powerful and agile so actual weight and height are less important than the correct proportion of weight to height. Desirable weight for a mature male in good condition is between 35 and 60 pounds. Desirable weight for a mature female in good condition is between 30 and 50 pounds. Dogs over these weights are not to be penalized unless they are disproportionately massive or rangy.

We have said it before, we will say it again; the irresponsible owners that choose to have pits for whatever reason need to be wiped out - don't punish the dog as they are an outstanding breed when in the right hands!

You can buy a gun at Wal-Mart to wound or kill, drink & drive on Alcohol - killing someone or several, and develop fatal diseases from Cigarettes -even passing them on second hand to others. ANYthing can be dangerous if in the hands of a moron. Don't blame the dog! A famous local man years back died from complications from Cat Scratch Fever. It's not just a song people! Let's wipe out the cats, as though I knew this man, I don't personally know anyone that has died from a pit bull attack or in fact been seriously bitten.
Our breed is in danger. Protect your dog as they would protect you. Please be responsible pit bull owners, if you're unclear on what a responsible owner is, there is a lot of information out there to educate on the subject, or always feel free to ask.
