Lolita Sweet 3-Time Nominee received 2 awards from The Black Music Association Academy of America/Bay Area Music Awards for Best Neo Soul Artist and Best Jazz Performer. After writting and releasing her debut Album "I'm Taking Applications", Lolita has not only won awards, she shared the stage with well known artists Dwele, Case, Dwayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone, Lenny Williams, Gap Band and more. She has worked with Sheldon Reynolds of Earth, Wind and Fire on compositions for her 2nd CD. She also performed in Beijing, China for the Ambassadors of the world. She began singing at age 3 and writing poetry at age 7 and writing compositions at 17. Lolita comes from a family of great well known musicians and singers (Ottis Redding "Sitting on the Doc of Bay" and Ciara "My Goodies"). Lolita's band are established musicians and when they perform they tranform to the Raw Suga Band: Victoria Theodore -Keyboards for Stevie Wonder, Dale Chung - Percussions for Con Funk Shun, Lynette Williams- Keyboards, Altoris on Drums, Cam Perridge on Guitar, Blyss and Jamie Brewer Bass player for the Whispers.
